Taking Care of Your Home Needs
The kinds of water pressure needed for hydro jetting can range between 1500 to 4000 PSI or pounds per square inch, and can sometimes go as high as 10,000 PSI. A jetting tool is inserted into the pipes and a forward jet of water cleans them out as the jetting tool moves forward, propelled by reverse jets of water. Sometimes the jet tool also rotates to make sure that the pipe is thoroughly scoured. This method is considered “green” because it uses no other force but the power of water to clean the pipes. It also doesn’t require that the pipes be dug up or undergo very expensive reconstruction.
